Max W. Römer

Chairman

Max W. Römer is a founding partner of Quadriga Capital. During his more than 40 years in the private equity industry, Max has held a wide range of management roles and handled a large number of transactions. This included acquisitions in the sectors of Tech-Enabled Services, Smart Industries and Healthcare as well as the consumer industries. Max previously worked at DEG (Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH) and was instrumental in establishing the private equity operations of CVC Capital Partners in Germany. In 2015, Max was appointed chairman of the European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (EVCA), now known as Invest Europe. Max was a founding director of the German Private Equity and Venture Capital Association – BVK, Berlin in 1989 and has been re-appointed Member of the Board of Directors in 2018. Max holds a diploma in Business Administration from the University of Würzburg.
